Ce serre-câble étrier de 8 mm en inox A4 (inox 316 - qualité marine) est particulièrement adapté au câble de haubanage de 7,5 mm commercialisé par DX Avenue.
La partie filetée longue facilite le montage sur le câble, ce qui permet notamment de pouvoir utiliser un serre-câble de 6 mm sur un câble de 7,5 mm.
Prévoir 3 serre-câbles de 8 mm et une cosse cœur par point d'attache. L'utilisation de serre-câbles réduit la charge de rupture du câble de 15 à 20%. La distance entre les serre-câbles doit être égale à 6 à 8 fois le diamètre du câble (soit environ 5,5 cm).
