Big Insulator for wire antenna

The vast majority of insulators are made from traditional plastic materials (polyethyline) of which the mechanical and electrical characteristics are limited and rarely defined.

DX Avenue has opted to offer you an insulator presenting a solidity, a rigidity and a prolonged life. It is not sensitive to climatic variations (particularly UV resistant) and is resistant to transmission of high power.

Made in Delrin® polyoxymethylene (POM) resin it is made to last for decades even under heavy tension.

This big model is designed for large wire antennas or heavy weight (40-80-160 m dipole etc). A smaller model is also available.

Installation and suggestions from DX Avenue

• Our 2.6 or 3 mm insulated line is particularly suitable for tensioning wire antennas. It would be a pity to invest in an insulator intended to last for decades if the halyard has to be changed every 2 years!
