Baluns are much used by radio amateurs but their complexity often renders their construction difficult, even impossible without a minimum of material. Experimentation also requires a great deal of time and imagination in order to make the baluns always perform well.

All models sold under the label DX Avenue are constructed in a moulded grey box 4 to 5mm thick, highly resistant to shocks, anti-UV treated and closed by four screws. The attachment of connecters and ceramic posts is in A4 stainless steel (marine quality)

Depending on the model and the maximum power, different TEFLON® connecters are offered (7/16, SO239, N, BNC). So you can buy your balun with the connecter which suits the requirements of your coaxial cable.

Why would you buy a 1KW balun (which is dearer) if you never use more than 100 or 150W? We therefore offer an extended range in terms of maximum power at an affordable price.

In addition to the "classic" conversion types such as 1:1, 2:1, 4:1, 6:1 and 9:1 we are able to provide to order less available baluns/one to ones. Don’t hesitate to contact us for fuller information.

Your balun is constructed to order within 8 to 10 days and tested with antenna analyzer before shipping.
